Travel update

Still on the stand at Geneva airport, issues with check in but we're on the plane and waiting.

No news on take off time as yet which means no news on our new arrival time at Gatwick and finally back at the College. 

I will update the blog as we taxi onto the runway.

We have left the hotel and are en route to Geneva airport. Drive time is 2hrs 30mins. Flight scheduled to depart on time so at present all is running according to plan A.

Dear Parents,

The current state of play is that our flight from Geneva at 1125 is scheduled to depart on time and arrive at Gatwick on time. 

ETA at the College is 1415. 

I will of course update if anything changes so please do watch this space as I imagine that you've all been carefully watching the news.

All safe and sound on the coach from Geneva airport to the resort. ETA at the Hotel Skilt is 1400 (local time) where there might possibly be lunch waiting.

The team made an early start this morning setting off at 07:45. They have done really well so far and are now on their last section. We expect to be finished by 3pm if they maintain a steady pace for the last 2km.

ETA back to school

ETA currently 5pm.

The final adventure - the journey home!

After a busy week we are packed up and ready to go.  The weather has changed dramatically and we leave behind a rainy and miserable looking Snowdonia. The route back is approximately 6 hours which if we have a clear run will get us back a few hours earlier than planned. Sat Nav currently says 4pm at Shoreham. We will keep you updated as best we can on the drive back.

North Wales Day 4 - Ogwen and Llanberis

Another fantastic day today! We went clip lining up the Ogwen waterfall followed by lunch and then an afternoon of multi-pitch climbing followed by an abseil down. Accommodation all cleaned up and ready for a final activity before heading home tomorrow.
