Team Ski prize giving on the mountain followed by hot chocky
A fantastic last ski in Friday afternoon, we all met at the top of the Les Menuires lift and the ESF instructors handed out certificates to all the pupils. We then all skied down the mountain together and had a 'fully loaded' hot chocky on the hotel terrace.
What a perfect was to end our time on the mountain.

Dinner out with Team ski
Thank you all for the most wonderful evening out tonight at a local alpine pizza restaurant. Lots of chatting, laughter and good times, especially when prizes were awarded for achievements over the week...as well as for the hilarious stunts & falls.
A tip top time had by all, well done Team Ski.
Stunning views & great progress
Thanks to Mr Mathias for these photos of the intermediate group sailing down the pistes with tidy parallel turns.
Beginners on top of the world
Mrs Liley took these super photos of the beginners way up high on the mountain range. Always incredible to think how far they've come since day 1...a magnificent achievement.

Winter Olympics 2016
Gold medal performance at the Winter Olympics this evening. Massive thanks to Mrs Liley for braving the arctic conditions and being chief paparazzi for the evening.
The beginners higher up
Thanks to Mr Mathias for these photos this morning. Lots of praise from him for their progress, just think that a few days ago they put on their skis for the first time. Well done!

Revving up on speed mountain
Brilliant apres ski at speed mountain! A roller coaster/ toboggan on rails which zooms through the mountain for 1000m. Lots of screaming and laughing could be heard throughout the alps, definitely one to do again next time we visit Les Menuires.
Followed this up with a movie nite and popcorn in pyjamas, just the ticket after a hard day's skiing.
Day 3 - enjoying a ski with the intermediates
Top progress since I last skied with this group, far less falling and far more smiles...relaxing and enjoying, great to see.

Day 2 - update
Lots of fun today on the slopes, beginners have done brilliantly progressing to blue runs, great to bump into intermediates up high in the alps, and seriously quick skiing in the advanced group.
All meals are being demolished and going down a treat, lots of great camaraderie between the whole group, and we're so impressed with how the group is gelling. The hotel staff have been very complimentary about our pupils, especially at meal times as they stack up their plates and clean tables for the waiting staff.
All in all a super ski trip...the constant smiles on the pupil's faces tells it all.
Well done Team Shoreham!
